Job summary

The Village at Gleannloch Farms is seeking a compassionate Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our dedicated team in Houston, TX. You will assist residents with daily activities, perform basic treatments, and ensure safety and cleanliness throughout your shift.

Qualifications

• Possess a current Texas Nurse Aide Certification (required).
• Successful completion of a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program.
• Registration with State registry required; prior geriatric aide experience preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR).
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Give treatments, perform tests, carry out procedures and collect specimens as instructed.
• Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
• Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
• Answer signal lights promptly.
• Change bed linens, make beds and keep rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
