Pecan Bayou Nursing & Rehabilitation in Brownwood, TX is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide compassionate daily living assistance, monitor patients, and support nursing staff. You will help with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility while maintaining dignity and safety.

Required CNA training and certification, ability to pass background checks and immunizations, and excellent communication. Previous experience and EHR familiarity are a plus; bilingual abilities are welcome.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited CNA training program.
Valid CNA certification/license as required by the state or local regulatory authority.
Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care techniques.
Ability to pass background checks and health screenings including immunizations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Responsabilités

Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
Support patients with mobility needs, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation.
Provide nutritional support by assisting with feeding and ensuring patients receive proper hydration.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient status, concerns, and changes in condition.
Assist with basic medical procedures under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses.
Document patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with healthcare regulations.
