Job summary

Ridgecrest Village in Davenport, IA is seeking compassionate CNAs to provide personal care and promote resident dignity in a supportive team environment.

You will assist with daily living activities, observe residents, document care, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure safe, comfortable living for older adults.

Shifts include day hours with some weekends and holidays required, and you will receive ongoing training to uphold high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Current state certification as a nursing assistant is mandatory.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently to perform job duties.
• Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care in accordance with resident care plans and Ridgecrest Village policies and procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including mobility, transfers, grooming and dressing, toileting, bathing, and dining support as needed.
• Promote and encourage the highest level of independence for residents.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition or concerns to the supervising nurse.
• Document resident care and observations accurately and timely.
• Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality resident care.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
