Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• CNA certification required by state where hospital resides; BLS/CPR certification required.
• Experience not required; 2–3 years in acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities under supervision of RN or LPN.
• Assist with daily living activities and comfort measures.
• Perform tasks per hospital policies; do not administer medications or therapies.
