Job summary

Sentara Internal Medicine Physicians – 1080 First Colonial clinic in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support providers, deliver hands-on patient care, and assist with clinical procedures in a day shift (8:00 AM–5:00 PM). The position offers up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus and belongs to Sentara Medical Group.

Requirements include High School Diploma, BLS within 90 days, CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA/CMAC or EMT-Basic certification, and less than one year of

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Current, unexpired Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CMAC, or equivalent) or EMT-Basic certification from an accredited organization.
• Less than a year of related experience is required; one year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities
