American Welding & Gas, Inc. in Georgetown, KY is seeking a Delivery Driver to support our growing distribution network. You will deliver products using company vehicles, inspect loads, and ensure proper labeling and documentation.

The role requires a Class B license with Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brakes, DOT pre-employment screening, and a clean driving record. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and PPE.

Qualifications

• DOT pre-employment drug-screen and physical, and company road test.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Clean driving record; 3+ years experience.
• Ability to lift 75–100 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and validate labeled, secured items on the vehicle.
• Deliver products to customers and company locations using company vehicles.
• Load and unload products at locations.
• Maintain a clean, compliant vehicle.
• Ensure proper placarding and labeling.
• Comply with CGMP, Hazmat, OSHA, DOT and other regulations.
• Prepare and complete paperwork accurately.
• Maintain electronic trip logs.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Achieve delivery objectives set by management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Delivery Driver - Duties:

• Inspection and validation that products on vehicle are properly labeled, secured and documented
• Provide product deliveries to customers and company locations using company provided vehicles
• Loading and unloading products at customers and company locations
• Maintain a compliant, clean and orderly vehicle
• Ensures vehicles are appropriately placarded and/or labeled
• Ensures compliance with CGMP, Hazmat, OSHA, DOT and other regulatory agencies
• Ensures appropriate preparation, completion, and accuracy of paperwork
• Maintain electronic trip-logs
• Perform pre-trip and post trip-inspections
• Achieve delivery objectives set forth by the manager
• Other duties as assigned
