Occasions Caterers, part of the Compass Group family, is hiring for a full-time Helper Driver to coordinate food delivery and setup at scheduled functions in Washington, DC. This role requires driving responsibilities, customer service, and proper handling of food and equipment under supervision.

The position offers full-time hours with day-to-day variation in schedule. A valid driver's license and state-specific permits are required to operate company vehicles and serve food or alcohol where

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required for operating company vehicles.
• Must possess or obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to the scheduled locations.
• Arranges tables and decorations.
• Sets buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards.
• Serves food and beverages to guests.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
• Cleans and packs dishes and utensils for removal to the Catering Department.
• Returns unserved foods and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to the Catering Department.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
