Compass Group USA is hiring a full-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER for the 424 5th Avenue location in New York, NY. The role supports dining services in museums, performing arts centers and corporate environments. Schedule is Monday–Friday; hours may vary. Prior hospitality and inventory management experience is required.

Responsibilities include operating the POS, assisting the Chef, prepping coffee, and keeping stations clean. Competitive hourly pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality and inventory management experience required.
• Cashier duties with POS system experience recommended.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Point of Sale system and assist with cashiering.
• Prepare coffee and assist the Chef as needed.
• Maintain clean cashier and coffee stations.
• Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Stock and rotate inventory; ensure proper temperatures are recorded.
