CASHIER

Responsibilities:

• Provides fast and friendly checkout services for customers.
• Assists customers with questions about the store.
• Scans and/or weighs products during the checkout process.
• Handles cash and other forms of payment properly.
• Maintains a neat and clean work area.
• Restocks register supplies.
• Performs “go‑backs” of returned or abandoned merchandise.
• Bags groceries when necessary or assists Courtesy Clerk in doing so.
• Other duties as assigned.

Abilities:

Good customer service skills. Able to read, write and perform basic math problems (counting, addition, subtraction).

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift 25 lbs. Work includes standing, reaching, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting and kneeling.
