Job summary

Mr. Handyman of Huntington & Smithtown is seeking an experienced home-repair professional for a full-time, year-round W-2 role. Expect a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule with a take-home company van and fuel card, plus office scheduling support.

You will independently complete repair, maintenance and light remodeling projects across Central and Western Suffolk County, earning typically $36-45 per hour with performance pay. A first-60-days earnings guarantee applies if applicable.

Qualifications

• Substantial paid experience in carpentry, drywall, remodeling, handyman work, or related trades.
• Proficient in carpentry plus at least two other home-repair trades.
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete projects without constant supervision.
• Produce clean, professional-quality work and communicate well with homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete repair, maintenance, improvement and light-remodeling projects for homeowners and businesses.
• Carry out trim and finish carpentry tasks.
• Repair and install doors, windows, drywall, painting, and fixtures as needed.
• Manage project tasks to ensure timely completion with quality workmanship.
