Job summary

Visiting Angels Marble Falls is seeking a Full Time Caregiver to support seniors in the Highland Lakes region, including Llano and Marble Falls. You will provide compassionate in-home care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, and meal prep with the client's collaboration.

This role offers growth through training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care and opportunities for ongoing education, with options for various shift schedules and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion to serve others and compassionate.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Good time management and strong communication.
• Ability to assist with mobility, personal care, and cooking.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Full Time Caregiver Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Full Time Caregiver Requirements
