Fine Point Cabinetry & Millwork in Rockaway, NJ is seeking a full-time Cabinet Maker / Installer to join our small, detail-driven shop. This hands-on role covers shop fabrication and on-site installation of high-end residential cabinetry and millwork.

You’ll read drawings, operate woodworking machinery, assemble cabinetry, and install finished pieces in clients' homes. We value pride in workmanship, reliability, problem solving, and a willingness to learn while contributing to quality projects.

Qualifications

Job description

Fine Point Cabinetry & Millwork is looking to add a full-time Cabinet Maker / Installer to our team in Rockaway, NJ.

We're a growing custom cabinetry and millwork shop specializing in high-end residential work throughout Northern New Jersey. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the details, and wants to be part of a small team where quality and craftsmanship actually matter.

Experience is important, but we're not looking for someone who thinks they already know everything. Attitude, reliability, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn are just as important. We want someone who can take ownership of their work, work independently when needed, and also jump in wherever the team needs them.

This is a hands-on position that includes both shop fabrication and on-site installation. You should be comfortable working with woodworking machinery and hand tools, reading drawings, building and assembling cabinetry and millwork, and installing finished work in clients' homes. You'll be working on everything from kitchens and built-ins to closets, vanities, architectural millwork, and one-off custom pieces.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $30-38/hour DOE, 1 week paid vacation + 1 week paid sick time to start, 8 paid holidays per year, health insurance available, and additional vacation after 3 years.
