Qualifications

• Current Missouri Teaching certificate or valid Substitute certificate.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Ability to utilize instructional technology and computer applications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Teaches scheduled classes. Prepares a written summary of work completed.
• Assumes all duties of the absent teacher and follows lesson plans.
• Consults with the principal to resolve questions and concerns.
• Promotes proper use and care of school property and upholds policies.
• Maintains a positive learning environment and high student conduct standards.
