Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services at Pace University in New York, NY is hiring immediately for full-time BARISTA positions.

You will make espresso drinks, serve coffee and related foods, enter orders into POS, handle cash and card payments, and keep the service area clean per HACCP standards. Prior coffee and food service experience is required and the fixed pay rate is $22.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders accurately into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction.
