Job summary

Compass Group USA’s Eurest division is hiring a full-time Barista at the Alaska Training Center in Renton, WA. You will make and serve coffee and espresso drinks, follow HACCP guidelines, and interact with customers.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Previous barista experience is required. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and an ongoing internal referral bonus.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience required.
• Must be able to work Monday–Friday schedule.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner.
• Attention to HACCP guidelines for food service.

Responsibilities

• Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Ensures proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards.
• Greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction; relays concerns to supervisors.
• Serves customers quickly and efficiently; prevents delays in serving lines.
