Job summary

Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay in Tampa, FL is seeking a full-time Barback to support the bar and dining team in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

You will assist with delivering to tables, maintaining bar cleanliness, restocking, and helping bartenders to ensure seamless service for guests. Prior barback or food runner experience is preferred, and flexibility for AM/PM shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as barback or food runner preferred.
• Good verbal communication and collaborative attitude.
• Desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must lift moderate weights and be flexible for AM/PM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist food service employees in delivering food to tables and attend to needs behind the bar.
• Maintain cleanliness behind the bar, carry dirty dishes, and replace soiled linens.
• Set tables, replenish linens, silverware, glassware and dishes, and serve water, appetizers and coffee.
