Job summary

Mavis Tire is hiring a General Service Technician in the Rochester, NY area to perform essential tire services and routine maintenance. This full-time role offers paid training, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth within the nation's largest automotive service organization.

Responsibilities include tire mounting and balancing, oil changes, fluid checks, safety procedures, and maintaining a clean work area. Prior automotive experience is helpful but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on automotive environment.
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
