Job summary

Moon Valley Animal Hospital, a WellHaven Pet Health network member in Phoenix, seeks a dedicated Full-Time Associate DVM to join our four-doctor practice. Our hospital offers a 3-day workweek, a strong support team, and opportunities for leadership as we deliver high-quality care to canine and feline patients.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent degree required.
• State Veterinary Board License required.
• On the first day, must be in good standing with the state(s) employed to work for WellHaven.
• USDA accreditation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality care and safe service to maintain a positive hospital environment.
• Adhere to WellHaven protocols and oversee employees to prioritize goals.
• Collaborate with the Principal Doctor on development plans aligned with hospital objectives.
• Practice medicine in compliance with laws and maintain medical records.
• Maintain thorough medical charting and documentation for all patients.
• Provide comprehensive client communication in person, phone, and email.
• Participate in community events and hospital projects.
• Demonstrate proficiency in anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and current practices.
• Support staff training and lead/manage as required.
