Job summary

Target Optical in Georgia seeks an Associate Optometrist (OD) to ensure high-quality eye and vision care for patients. You will diagnose, treat, and manage ocular diseases as a primary health care provider within a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes leadership within the practice, delivery of exceptional patient experiences, and adherence to clinical protocols to drive growth and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School or College of Optometry required.
• Licensed to practice Optometry in the state of practice location.
• DPA and TPA certification required.
• Knowledge of current Optometric technology and practices preferred.
• Strong communication skills - verbal & listening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality optometric care and services to patients.
• Establish a positive doctor/patient relationship.
• Conduct all services in accordance with clinical protocols and accepted standards of care.
• Ensure patients receive accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
• Utilize available technology to deliver optimal patient experiences.
• Collaborate with store/practice team and leadership to foster a safe, motivating work environment.
• Maintain office quality systems.
• Maximize relationships through leadership and involvement.
• Provide clear training and guidance to team members.
• Strive to exceed KPIs and performance expectations.
• Help establish the brand as the leading optical provider in the community.
