Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a full-time General Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care at partner locations in Montoursville/Williamsport region. You will lead the patient experience from exam through treatment planning and delivery, with opportunities across in-office specialties and a strong emphasis on prevention and education.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Documentation of malpractice insurance.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and maintain patient medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
