Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director at the Riverton site to help implement daily after school and summer programs for youth ages 5 to 18. You will work closely with the Branch Director to ensure program quality, safety, and member engagement.

This full-time, benefited position offers hands-on leadership, opportunities to mentor staff, and a chance to make a difference in the lives of youth. Wage is $17–$20 per hour DOE, with in-person work location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is required.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screen are required.
• Experience with youth in educational or recreational settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and group management skills are essential.

About the Role

The Assistant Director assists in the implementation of the daily after school and summer program at the Riverton site! The Assistant Director works closely with the Branch Director to lead high quality programs with youth accounting for program quality, safety, and member engagement. Candidates will be considered on the basis of experience, cultural alignment, and overall fit with the team at the Riverton site. Qualifications

• Passion for youth development and a belief in the potential of all youth.
• Experience working with children or teens in educational or recreational settings.
• Strong communication and group management skills.
• Creativity, patience, and a proactive, mission-driven mindset.
• Ability to adapt content for youth ages 5 to 18.
• Preferred: experience in education, or with youth.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required); college coursework in education, recreation, or youth development (preferred).
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen.
