Job summary

Performance Driven Workforce in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Full-time Assembler / Tire Lab Technician for an automotive tier 1 supplier. You will assist a senior assembler, learn on the job, and perform basic manufacturing tasks in a fast-paced setting on the AM day shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Mon-Fri, OT as needed).

Requirements include a high school diploma, 6+ months experience, a valid driver's license, tire experience, and strong computer skills. No certification required; overtime available.

Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is now hiring Full-time Assembler / Tire Lab Technicians for an automotive Tier 1 supplier. The Full-time Assembler / Tire Lab Technicians role will assist and learn from a senior assembler. The Full-time Assembler / Tire Lab Technicians will perform basic manufacturing and cleaning work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates must have tire experience. This Full-time Assembler / Tire Lab Technicians position is based out of Dearborn, MI., and offers an AM day shift!

Shift Schedule

• AM day shift:7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday, OT when needed)

Responsibilities

• Assist a senior Assembler with assembling products and sub-components to support vehicle production and other products
• Support vehicle and material movement in and around facility
• Follow electronic build book for assembly instructions
• Clean and prepare components and vehicles for production
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow established safety procedures

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months’ experience required
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Must have Tire experience
• Proficient with computer usage
• Ability to learn and follow written instructions
• Ability to perform fine hand manipulation
• Knowledge of tools and their use
• Ability to focus on details and quality of work

Preferred Requirements

• High School automotive shop class(es)
• Experience performing personal vehicle maintenance
• Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends
