Job summary

Wilbur Mills COOP is seeking a dedicated and compassionate American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to join the Des Arc School District full-time. The interpreter will provide communication access for deaf or hard-of-hearing students, supporting their learning and engagement in the classroom.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers and staff, maintaining confidentiality, and participating in ongoing professional development to uphold high professional standards.

Qualifications

• ASL proficiency is required.
• EIPA certification is required or willingness to obtain within the designated timeframe.
• Experience with young children in an educational setting is preferred but not required.
• Commitment to inclusive early childhood education.

Responsibilities
