Job summary

Invicta Security is seeking an Armed Security Officer to protect client premises in North Colorado. You will deter threats, conduct patrols, monitor surveillance, and respond to alarms while maintaining professionalism.

You will collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders, complete detailed shift reports, and enforce security procedures. Must hold an armed security license and be able to handle firearms; night, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid armed security officer license as per state regulations.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in security or law enforcement roles preferred.
• Ability to handle firearms and maintain proficiency in their use as mandated by law.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills to identify and address potential security issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse populations.
• Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods and responding quickly in emergencies.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Certification Requirements: Guard Card (Preferred), Armed Permit, Valid State ID.
