Job summary

Saint Luke's Health System is seeking qualified anesthesiologists to join the Main Operating Room team at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City. The department includes over 170 anesthesiologists, intensivists, CRNAs, AAs, residents and APPs, with a broad case mix and opportunities for academic affiliation.

This full-time position emphasizes general, orthopedic, thoracic, head and neck, obstetric and complex transplant cases, with a structured call schedule and access to a robust benefits package

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologists with fellowship training preferred.
• ACGME-accredited residency in Anesthesiology completed or in progress.
• Regional anesthesia training and Acute Pain Service experience are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for MOR cases including general, ortho, spinal/neuraxial and multidisciplinary procedures.
• Participation in regional anesthesia and acute pain service as needed.
• Collaborate with residents, CRNAs and AAs in a large departmental setting.
• Handle in-house anesthesia call coverage with associated day-off policy.
