Job summary

HES in Reno, NV is seeking Part-Time General Cleaners to maintain the daily cleanliness of campus facilities and support a custodial team. Reliability and the ability to follow directions are essential for this role.

Shifts include 1st and 2nd, School Hours, Weekends, and Summers. A high school diploma is preferred but not required; prior cleaning experience is a plus and transportation reliability is expected.

Responsibilities

• General Cleaners perform cleaning duties including sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, trash removal, window washing, and floor care.

• Work as part of a custodial team and follow supervisor directions.

We are looking for General Cleaners in Reno, NV.General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. General Cleaners perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facilityEssential FunctionsSweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, extracting carpet, stripping and waxing floors, removing trash, recycling, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms, polishing outside area within 10 feet of entryways, washing windows, removal or snow and ice, cleaning of desks/walls/ furniture/ doors/ entry glass/ interior glass/counter tops/chalkboards/ whiteboards/blinds and light fixtures, and any other duties as directed by custodial supervisor or his/her designated representative.Job RequirementsExcellent work historyTeam focused approach requiring ability to work with others and take directionPhysically ability to work efficiently with attention to detailReliable transportationMinimum QualificationsEducation: High school degree preferred, but not required.Experience: Previous cleaning experience a plus.Physical and Working ConditionsThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the duties of this job.
