• Encourage resident independence, support resident choice, and preserve resident dignity through professional conduct.
• Document and report changes promptly to the care team.

Education

CBRF Class Certifications – Standard Precautions, First Aid and Choking, and Fire Safety

The Caregiver supports residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. Encourages resident independence, supports resident choice, and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior direct care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Meets age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.
• CBRF Class Certifications – Standard Precautions, First Aid and Choking, and Fire Safety.
