Fruition Executive Search seeks a senior database administrator for an Intelligence Community program in Annapolis Junction. You will design and document relational and NoSQL data architectures, moving data at scale while ensuring high availability across distributed nodes.

Requirements include TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, last poly within 6 years, 10+ years DBA experience, and hands-on PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.

The environment:Amission-critical, geographically distributed system serving the IntelligenceCommunity — one where interface, performance, and security tolerances are tightand non-negotiable. You'll be a database engineering voice on a complexprogram, not a ticket-taker.

What you'll own:

• Relational and non-relational data architecture —design, build, and document
  
• Data movement at scale: replication acrossdistributed nodes, concurrent access, failover and high-availabilityengineering
  
• Performance work: tuning, capacity and performanceplanning, issue investigation through resolution
  
• Backup, recovery, and user administration
  
• Schema translation — turning requirements and rawdata into usable structures via ad hoc queries, scripts, and macros
  
• Requirements analysis, risk assessment, andalternatives analysis for system-level problems
  
• Long- and short-term database requirements for adminand design
  

Requirements

How you'll work:Embeddedin an Agile team, interfacing with systems, software, test, and informationassurance engineers. You'll contribute to Program Increment Planning andcollaborate daily with technical peers and customer POCs.

Clearance (hard gate):ActiveTS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph through the MD customer. Last poly within 6years. No CCAs.

Experience bar:

• 10+ years as a DBA on similar-scope programs
  
• Exposure to relational and NoSQL engines (PostgreSQL,MongoDB, Cassandra)
  
• Java as a language baseline
  
• Technical bachelor's, or 4 years additional DBAexperience in lieu
  

Nice to have:SAFemethodology or Agile team experience; Cassandra; MongoDB.

Sometravel to MD for quarterly planning, if not local.
