Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with a Michigan school district to welcome a dedicated Elementary Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This opportunity is ideal for an educator who can recognize individual strengths, respond to varying learning needs, and create instruction that helps every student make meaningful progress.
In this position, you’ll provide specialized instruction based on each student’s academic, developmental, behavioral, and social needs. You’ll create and carry out individualized education plans, deliver one‑on‑one and small‑group instruction, and adapt curriculum, assignments, and classroom strategies to support student success.
You’ll also track student performance, evaluate progress, and use classroom data to adjust instruction and interventions as needed. Supporting positive behavior, encouraging social development, and helping students build greater independence will be key components of the role.
Success in this position will involve working closely with general education teachers, specialists, families, and other members of the educational team. Through ongoing communication and collaboration, you’ll help promote consistent support across classroom settings and contribute to an inclusive school environment where students are encouraged to participate, develop their abilities, and work toward their individualized goals.
Candidates should have strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills, along with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field. The ideal educator can adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs and collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and student support professionals. Experience in a resource, inclusion, or self-contained setting is preferred. Applicants must hold a valid Michigan teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement or be eligible to obtain the required credential.
