Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Software Developer to support the migration to CrafterCMS, developing and maintaining modern web experiences through reusable front-end components, templates, and content authoring tools using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Vite.

You will collaborate with developers, editors, marketing and editorial teams to deliver reliable, accessible web solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS or web development.
• 3 years of experience developing interactive websites and applications.
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; experience with PHP, Ruby, Python.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Configure innovative front-end interfaces for new and current websites and digital interfaces.
• Ensure output meets stakeholder requirements and is usable across multiple browsers.
• Collaborate with web producers, developers, marketing managers, and editorial teams on designs and functionality.
• Assist with information architecture development.
• Support branding efforts and align with business requirements.
• Stay updated on trends in web design, usability, and information architecture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
