Job Description

Our client is a global software design firm. They are looking for a Full-stack Web Developer (Node.js expertise).

• Full-stack web developer with expertise in Node.js
• Intrigued by solving complex problems with server-side code
• Passionate about open-source technology, paired with strong computer science and web development fundamentals
• Enjoy being part of the Web's transformation, and being surrounded by people who are passionate about building fluid modern, responsive (or adaptive!) user experiences for the browser
• Deliver exceptional client results and project success
• Learn our client’s business, their organization, systems, challenges and goals
• Work directly with the client to define and clarify requirements
• Work with your team to create accurate project and task estimates
• Consistently develop and deliver high-quality, low-defect features on schedule in Node.js
• Lead by example through the implementation of challenging and complex components
• Work closely with your project team. Foster a fun and collaborative environment
• Ensure quality through best practice and through mentorship, feedback and paired programming
• Work part-time or full-time at the client’s site

Requirements

• A web developer at heart – excited about modern web development
• Personable, enthusiastic, a strong communicator, and detail oriented
• Computer Science degree or equivalent
• Min. 2+ years Web Development experience and expertise with Node.js
• Min. 2+ years full-stack development experience
• Strong CS and development fundamentals, including OOP
• Comfortable in either .Net or Java
• Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript across multiple libraries
• Single Page Application exposure (ex. React, Angular, Knockout)
