Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a senior full-stack software engineer in the United States to own both frontend and backend work. You will spend roughly half your time enhancing React UIs and the other half building scalable backend services on Node.js and AWS.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience with TypeScript, Node.js, REST APIs, and strong React skills, plus a self-starter attitude and the ability to drive multiple initiatives in a fast-changing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proven React frontend experience including component development, state management, and UI integration.
• Backend experience with Node.js, REST APIs, and AWS services.
• Full-stack capability with roughly 50/50 frontend/backend workload.
• Self-starter mentality and ability to drive work independently in an evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Split time between React UI development and building backend services.
• Own frontend and backend work end-to-end, balancing priorities in a fast-changing environment.
