Job summary

Northwood Space is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, build, and own internal dashboards and tools across the API, data layer, and UI. You will ship tools to a diverse internal customer base of platform, software, hardware, and operations engineers.

You will collaborate with Platform Delivery and follow development standards to enable rapid deployment and onboarding workflows, shipping iteratively based on user feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional full stack development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Rust or Go for backend and TypeScript for frontend.
• Experience building REST or gRPC APIs and relational databases.
• Comfort with containers, Git-based workflows, and CI pipelines.
• Track record of shipping working software to users and iterating on feedback.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain internal web apps and services supporting build, release, and engineering workflows.
• Build backend APIs and integrations with GitLab, artifact registries, telemetry stores, and platform services.
• Own full lifecycle of tools from requirements to deployment via GitOps and ongoing support.
• Contribute to shared tooling frameworks, component libraries, and standards.
• Instrument tools for observability and traceability.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions across the team.
