You will collaborate with mission engineers and customers to shape the approach for enhancing prototype modeling applications and delivering a full-stack prototype to assist Space Force mission planning. Qualifications

• Strong background in Software Engineering of Space-Applications, Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical engineering, math and/or physics.
• Working knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming or languages for performing capability prototypes
• Full stack experience
• BS Degree in Technical Field with desire in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or Math
• TS/SCI clearance
• Ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience

Responsibilities

You will

Lead a small development team to develop and enhance existing prototype and modeling space-application software tools capabilities for the Space Force.

• Work with mission engineers, subject matter experts, and the customer to determine best approaches in developing and enhance existing prototype and modeling applications for the Space Force.

You have

• Understanding of military Orbital Warfare operations and employment concepts and/or the Orbital domain and associated physics.
• Demonstrated Test Engineering and/or System Engineering skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new guidance
• Leadership experience running a software development team

Compensation: Base Salary: $105,000-132,000 however this is commensurate with experience. Annual bonuses can be significant because they are based on the extent to which the employee drives profitability for the company.
