Job summary

CVector - Industrial AI in New York, NY, is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer I or II to expand web apps, data flows, and industrial gateways. Join a team delivering real-time visualization and AI-driven decisions for energy and manufacturing plants in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

You will work with Python, Typescript, React, MQTT, and PostgreSQL on AWS, with GitHub for version control, and have opportunities to lead across projects while traveling to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering degree(s) or equivalent professional experience demonstrating a strong foundation in computer science.
• Experience developing software with Python and/or Typescript.
• Experience with agent-driven development workflows. Past projects developing custom harness greatly preferred.
• Familiarity with modern web frameworks, databases, cloud infrastructure, and real-time data visualization libraries.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the engineering team to design, implement, and deploy features and bug fixes across the full software stack.
• Develop real-time data visualization tools and dashboard builder.
• Ensure high quality through automated tests and maintenance.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support system reliability.
• Actively pursue opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement.
• Travel occasionally to customer sites to directly understand user needs and challenges.
