Job summary

You will collaborate with product, business, quality, and data teams to convert requirements into reliable, maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience developing software with Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience building REST APIs and with Spring Boot or similar framework.
• Familiarity with one relational and one NoSQL database.
• Familiarity with Git, Linux, software testing, Agile delivery, and SDLC.
• Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services, REST APIs, and microservice-based applications using Python and/or Java.
• Build and enhance web application capabilities using JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, and server-side tech.
• Design data access layers for PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code with SOLID principles and proper error handling.
• Create unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews and release readiness.
• Containerize and deploy apps using Docker and CI/CD pipelines across cloud/Linux environments.
• Use Git, Maven, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, and Jira to support development and delivery.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams and communicate tradeoffs, risks, and progress.
