Job summary

Verily Health in Raleigh is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver full-stack features for our precision health platform. You will collaborate with product, data science, and operations teams to ship reliable software that supports virtual patient care and clinical workflows.

The role requires a BA/BS in a relevant field, 2+ years of software development experience, and hands-on work with Go, TypeScript, React, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
• 2+ years of experience as a software developer in an industry setting.
• Expertise in building software and systems on any of: GCP, AWS or Azure (GCP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver new full-stack software features across a range of Verily products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify dependencies, coordinate delivery, and communicate design decisions.
• Come up with ideas to technical design problems, compare options, and propose solutions.
• Develop using industry-standard tools including GitHub, Google Cloud, Go, React, and Terraform to name a few.
