Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA), is seeking a Mid Level Software Engineer for a CONTRACT engagement with a Regulatory client in the DMV area.

You will develop full-stack web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript on the front end and Java Spring Boot on the back end, focusing on scalable, observable systems. You will collaborate across teams to design robust APIs, tooling, and SDLC improvements, implement testing strategies, and contribute to automation and performance analytics.

Competenze

• 3-5+ years of software engineering experience building production systems.
• Proven experience building full-stack web applications end to end.
• Strong front-end development with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks.
• Strong back-end development with Java and Spring Boot.
• RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Experience using AI code assist tools to speed up development, improve quality.
