Job summary

VTekis Consulting LLP is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer (Java / Spring Boot) for a W2 position in New York. The role targets enterprise-grade Java applications, RESTful services, and microservices within a collaborative team.

Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and related technologies is required, along with experience using Oracle databases, WebSocket messaging, Kafka, and distributed caching in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java application development in enterprise environments.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring REST, or similar Java frameworks.
• Experience with Oracle databases, including SQL query development, optimization, and database design.
• Experience with WebSocket technologies and real-time messaging frameworks.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture patterns.
• Experience with Hazelcast, distributed caching, or in-memory data grid technologies.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, software design patterns, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
