Astral Insights builds AI-driven solutions to solve the most complex operational challenges in manufacturing and supply chain. We're looking for a motivated Full Stack Software Engineer intern to join our engineering team and contribute to real product work: building out our Artemis AI problem-solving engine and Phoenix data platform.
You'll work alongside senior engineers on Artemis and Phoenix, picking up features, squashing bugs, and learning what it means to build production software in a fast-moving, quality-conscious environment. If you're early in your career and serious about becoming a strong engineer, this is a place where that happens quickly.
Pick up real product work on the Artemis AI problem-solving engine and the Phoenix data platform. Ship features across the frontend (Next.js) and backend (Python, REST APIs) under the guidance of senior engineers.
Build the habit of testing your own code from day one. Quality is not a separate phase; it is part of how we ship.
Sprint planning, daily standups, and iterative delivery. You will own work end-to-end inside a sprint and be expected to communicate progress and blockers clearly.
Use Claude Code, Copilot, and similar tools to accelerate your work. Learn when to trust the output, when to verify, and when to throw it out.
Write clearly enough that a teammate can pick up your work without a meeting. Good documentation is part of the deliverable, not an afterthought.
Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. We care about what you can build, not just where you studied.
Academically, professionally, or through extracurriculars. You have shipped, won, built, or led something that stands out.
You have a bias toward figuring things out before asking for help. You ask sharp questions when you do.
You can write a clear update, leave a useful PR comment, and run a focused video call. Your team should never have to guess what you're working on.
Must be authorized to work in the US. Hybrid arrangements and remote programs are open for consideration.
