Job summary

SuperSonic POS, based in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for a hybrid role with 2 days in-office at the Westshore Tampa location. The first 90 days are on-site for onboarding and team integration.

You'll work across the stack from web and mobile front-ends to backend services, delivering features that impact thousands of stores using TypeScript, REST/GraphQL APIs, and modern frontend frameworks.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript.
• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework (e.g., React).
• Experience building backend services (Node.js or similar).
• Comfortable with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Familiarity with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with containers (Docker) and CI/CD.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and ownership mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features in our POS and back-office applications.
• Work across modern TypeScript, including frontend and backend services.
• Develop and consume APIs (REST and/or GraphQL).
• Work with relational databases and caching systems.
• Contribute to system design for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to define and deliver new functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and help improve engineering standards and patterns.
