Job summary

Stake Center Locating is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Data team. You will design, develop, and support custom enterprise applications and APIs to improve operational efficiency across the organization.

The role involves data engineering initiatives, system integrations, data pipelines, and automation solutions enabling reliable access to corporate data. You will work on CRUD portals, monitoring, testing, and production support with modern practices.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with an object-oriented programming language (C#, Java, Python, etc.).
• Experience with SQL Server development and database design.
• REST API development and integration experience.
• Knowledge of source control and SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain custom enterprise applications that support business operations.
• Develop and support web-based applications, APIs, and backend services using modern software development practices.
• Create intuitive user interfaces and workflows to enable employees to interact with data.
• Design and develop CRUD-based applications and portals for operational and reporting needs.
• Participate in architecture, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Develop integrations between internal and external systems using REST APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Build automation solutions using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Power Automate, and custom services.
• Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and operational support for critical apps.
• Develop data movement and integration solutions using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Design and support ETL/ELT processes for reliable data across platforms.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues impacting operations and analytics.
