Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Full-Stack Developer for a brand-new FBI contract, onsite in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on designing, developing, and modernizing enterprise applications with AWS cloud-native approaches and robust security practices.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software development, expertise across front-end and back-end tech, APIs, microservices, and CI/CD, plus a TS clearance. This is a long-term, full-time, on-site opportunity with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 8+ years of software development experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with front-end and back-end solutions using modern frameworks.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevSecOps environments, and automated testing.
• Experience developing documentation and communicating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack enterprise applications.
• Develop and optimize APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, quality, and security.
• Build cloud-native solutions and support AWS-based environments.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and infrastructure integration.
• Align solutions with cloud modernization and migration initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver business requirements.
• Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and product demos.
• Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices.
• Implement secure coding, auditing, compliance, and data governance standards.
• Troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and optimize system performance.
• Support automated testing, release readiness, and production deployments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture artifacts, and API specifications.
• Provide technical guidance, project updates, and status reporting to stakeholders.
