Job summary

Praxivara is hiring a full-stack software developer to design, build, and ship the AI platform end to end. You will work across backend services, data models, APIs, and web interfaces used daily by customers.

You will collaborate with design and product to turn ideas into polished, dependable features, writing well-tested code and owning it from design through deployment. This on-site role in New York City emphasizes correctness and robust systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building production web applications.
• Strong Python in large production codebases.
• SQL and PostgreSQL proficiency.
• Frontend fundamentals HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for responsive interfaces.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs, and working with Git, auth, and background processing.

Praxivara is building the AI platform that runs the modern business — an assistant that takes real action across the tools companies already use, and a team of autonomous agents that run the work behind them. We're hiring a full-stack software developer to help design, build, and ship that platform end to end.

What you'll do

• Build and ship production features across the entire stack — backend services, data models, APIs, and the web interfaces customers use every day.
• Design clean, reliable systems that let AI agents take action safely, including integrations, background jobs, webhooks, and approval workflows.
• Write well-tested, maintainable code and own your work from first design through deployment and monitoring in production.
• Partner closely with design and product to turn ideas into polished, dependable features.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of professional experience building and shipping production web applications.
• Expert-level Python, with real experience in a large production codebase.
• Strong command of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Solid front-end fundamentals — HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — and the ability to build clean, responsive interfaces.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs, and working with version control (Git), authentication, and background processing.
• A high bar for correctness, security, and quality — you sweat the details and the edge cases.

Nice to have

• Experience with an additional language such as Java, Go, or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD, containers, and object storage.
• Experience building on modern AI APIs, or with LLM and agent tooling.
