Job summary

Tempest Vane Partners, in New York, is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to build a brand-new operations platform for use across the firm. This Greenfield project will utilize the latest frontend and backend technologies, with a focus on React/Typescript UI and scalable cloud-based services.

The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of Full Stack experience, strong UI skills in React/Typescript, and exposure to Snowflake, AWS RDS/Postgres/MySQL, and Git.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or similar field.
• 3–6 years of Full Stack software development experience.
• Extensive UI development experience with React/Typescript.
• Familiarity with cloud and open source technologies such as Snowflake, AWS RDS / Postgres / MySQL and Git.
• Experience in financial services is desirable.

Tempest Vane Partners have partnered with a newly launched hedge fund who are establishing a strong name for themselves across the global financial markets space. Backed by one of the world's leading investment firms, they are growing their technology team and looking for a Full Stack Software Developer to join their operations development team in New York.

The successful applicant will be responsible for building a brand new operations platform used by users across the firm, presenting an exciting opportunity to work on a Greenfield project using the latest technologies. Strong development experience across both frontend and backend is required to be considered for this role, alongside prior experience working in financial services.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or similar field
• 3-6 years of Full Stack software development experience
• Extensive UI development experience with React/Typescript
• Familiarity with modern cloud and open source technologies such as Snowflake, AWS RDS / Postgres / MySQL and Git
• Experience working in financial services and knowledge of financial instruments (desirable)
