Job summary

Avion Solutions Inc., located in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to support the Maneuver Air Directorate. The role focuses on building robust C#/.NET web APIs and backend services, designing and testing software to meet strict DoD standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated experience building and supporting web applications.
• Strong experience developing, testing, and maintaining RESTful web APIs in the .NET ecosystem.
• Experience with relational databases, including querying, designing, and optimizing databases.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or a comparable relational database.
• Familiarity with testing, debugging, code reviews, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Git version control and a DevSecOps Platform such as GitLab.
• Experience working with Docker or other containerization technologies.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain modern C#/.NET web APIs and backend services.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of the C# language.

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks and languages such as React, Typescript, and Javascript.

• Experience with API documentation and tooling such as OpenAPI/Swagger.

• Familiarity with developing reusable NPM packages or component libraries.

• Experience integrating frontend solutions with backend APIs, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
