Job summary

Mistral is seeking a Research Engineer - Full Stack to help internal stakeholders adopt its products and tackle complex technical challenges. You will collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product teams to deliver robust full-stack solutions and integrate AI models into client software.

You will work on frontend-backend integration, contribute to scalable applications, and help define best practices for production deployments.

Qualifications

2+ years as a technical individual contributor on cutting-edge technologies.
Strong coding skills in Python and TypeScript.
Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js.
Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js.
Solid understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
Strong communication skills with an ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with researchers, AI engineers, and product engineers on complex customer projects, integrating cutting-edge AI models into clients’ software products.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust full-stack applications with seamless front-end and back-end integration.
Develop complex use cases with internal stakeholders and guide production integration with services and interfaces.
Collaborate with product and science teams to improve product and model capabilities based on internal feedback.
