Job summary

Capgemini seeks an experienced QA/Automation Engineer in the Dallas area to lead test strategy and automation efforts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, harnessing Java/Spring Boot, SQL, and modern automation frameworks to ensure robust software delivery.

The role emphasizes distributed testing across layers, cloud familiarity (Azure/AWS), and strong CI/CD practices. On-site position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with Agile and Jira in development teams.
• Hands-on testing of distributed applications across stacks.
• Proficient in Test Management lifecycle.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle/DB2/Postgres and PL/SQL.
• Expert in test automation using Rest Assured, Playwright, Karate, Cucumber, TestNG.
• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot; knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus.
• CI/CD with GitHub, Maven, Jenkins; Docker and SonarQube experience.
• Cloud experience (Azure AWS) and DevOps CICD exposure.
• Stock Plan Services/Brokerage experience is a plus.
• Ability to design test strategy and automation suites for a new product.
