Job summary

Pinnaclearc is seeking a senior data engineer in Boston (onsite) to own data pipeline and API development for the financial services domain. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage Python, AWS, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and REST APIs to deliver scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in financial services and a strong track record in data libraries for Python, with a focus on data engineering and analytics in banking, hedge funds, or private equity

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry with a focus on data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python, AWS, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Kafka, FastAPI, React, and SQL.
• Experience delivering REST API-enabled data solutions and working with data libraries in Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of data pipelines and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions under deadlines.
• Work with investment banking/hedge funds context to optimize data models and analytics.
