Alpaca is a US-headquartered, global leader in agent-first brokerage infrastructure. We are hiring a Full Stack Engineer on the Platform Team to develop and operate authentication, authorization, and IdP systems that power our APIs and products.

You will primarily write Go for backend services and gRPC/REST APIs, with React/TypeScript for auth-related UI, and occasional Java. Kubernetes, Helm, and observability tools are part of the stack, and you’ll own work end-to-end from requirements through

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience with strongly-typed languages, including at least 1 year in Go.
• Experience building web applications with React and TypeScript.
• Relational databases experience (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Startup experience; thrives in ambiguity and changing priorities.
• Able to own work end-to-end from requirements to deployment and monitoring.
• 3+ years working on systems at scale.

Aufgaben

• Build and improve authentication-related experiences in customer and partner apps (login, permissions, credential management).
• Develop and maintain platform authentication, authorization, and IdP services.
• Create and evolve shared libraries and SDKs.
• Integrate with identity providers and enforce login policies across products.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot identity services in production.
